Punch and Judy: Cast Iron Mechanical Bank
Function: Place a coin in the frying pan, and pull the spring. Punch swings his baton at Judy as she slings the coin into the bank.
The characters depicted in the bank stem from the 16th Century. There have been many variations over the years. The most recent version is that of Punch and Judy who are well known from British puppeteer shows. The comedic Punch presents his slapstick at the expense of his victims such as his wife Judy and other characters. This bank is a replica of the original version where the only noticeable difference is the size of letters in the title. Still a great find.
