Georgiana Cavendish Devonshire was an English Aristocrat. There are several articles around the original picture of Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire. She led an interesting life of gambling, marital affairs, politics and influential fashion. In the print below she is fashioning a large hat and feather, which she designed herself for the Gainsborough painting in 1785.
